TCS placement process includes

General Aptitude test
Technical Interview
Management Review/Personal Interview.

The general aptitude test is an online test. Online test is conducted in order to maintain standard and value. Aptitude test does not have the same pattern in all colleges. The pattern varies from college to college. Till last year, most of the questions were from previous year TCS question bank, but nowadays it is not the same.

At present TCS has visited number of colleges in Tamil Nadu. In Thiagaraja College of Engineering, the test consists of quantitative aptitude, verbal section and critical reasoning. Each section had separate timings such as verbal had 20 minutes, critical reasoning had 30 minutes and aptitude test had 40 minutes. In SRM University the general test consists of only aptitude. It had a time constraint of 40 minutes. In Sethu Institute of Technology, the general aptitude consists of aptitude questions. It had a time constraint of 80 minutes and a total of 35 questions. Generally we should have concept clarity for clearing the test as well as technical interview section.
