TREATMENT
During applications, you should not have a tan from solarium or sun bath. The doctor should be informed before the treatment whether you have been exposed to sun or not.

TEST APPLICATION
Our doctors give great importance to giving you a test shot and recording your test dosage and personal information. We try hard to perform a test session before the application as much as possible. You can even evaluate the reaction that will be established 24-48 hours after the application yourselves.

PREPARATION FOR THE TREATMENT
If possible, derooting the hairs with waxing, epilation processes should not be performed at least 1 month before the application. We recommend you not to have sun bath or go to solarium at least 1 month before the application. It is sufficient to shave the area appropriately 3 days before the application. Applying a local anesthesic cream half an hour before the application is not required due to the efficient cooling in our system.

Application of local anesthesia is rarely applied to our patients who have low pain thresholds. Laser epilation devices apply the light energy with a manual device from a certain distance. During the treatment, with this manual device repeating laser shots are performed. The rate of these shots can be arranged as 1-2-3-4 per second. This depends on the region, device and the person applying the process. Each shot scans an area of approximately 1.5 cm2. After this shot, the hair root heats over 65?C and are destroyed. By this way, a hair root can not produce a new hair.

POST-TREATMENT
After laser epilation application, light to dark redness and mild swelling around the hair can occur. This reaction usually disappears within 1-2 hours. Sometimes it can last 1-2 days. We apply special creams and cooling if necessary for this local reaction. By this way, we minimize the formation of the reaction.

Our patients are informed on the post-treatment. If necessary, we can recommend the usage of these special creams also at home. The treated area is recommended not to be exposed to sunlight for 1 week or sun bathing is also not recommended. After that, hair does not grow back mostly in the treated area. With the new laser, permanent epilation can be provided.

SIDE EFFECTS
If the person to apply the laser epilation device applies it correctly, no problem will occur. In sensitive skin or application with high energy lasers, superficial crust forming can occur. This crust forming improves in the next days and the skin turns into normal. A resting hair root is not affected by laser. Therefore it varies according to the region and treatments should be repeated after 1-2 months. Usually 4-6 treatments performed with 1-2 month intervals are enough. A decrease rtate of 75-95% in hair follicules is considered to be successful.
